HUMAN RIGHTS

Human rights are all the faculties, institutions and basic goods that includes every single person, just because he/she is a human. Those are to garantee a decent life without distinction of colour, sex, language, religion, political opinion, nationality... Human rights were invented with the end of World War II. The United Nations vowed with the international community to never again allow atrocities like those happen again.  World leaders decided to complement the UN with a road map to guarantee the rights of every human. The document they considered, and which would later become the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, was taken up in 1946.

There are a total of 30 human rights.

Everyone has the right to rest and leisure, including reasonable limitation of working hours and periodic holidays with pay. I knew this Human right because doing Economics we studied the right of a worker. But nowadays this Human Right is not at all respected.

Everyone has the right to take part in the government of his country, directly or through freely chosen representatives. I didn't know this one and I am not totally sure if it is respected or not.
