DIALOGUE (Homa and Gianluca)

ANOTHER ACCIDENT.
Well it seems that I'm the one of the bad luck with accidents..
Last weekend I was in a birthday party. Having finished dinner we were all chating and telling jokes.
But afterward the guys started to play throwing a plastic gun and other toys that were in the room.
And of course I was in the middle... I was talking to a friend that I hadn't seen in ages but just when I turned my head one of the guys threw me the plastic gun straigh to my eye by accident.
At the first I started to laugh but when I tried to open my eye I realized that I wasn't able. I started to cry out and scream because I wasn't able to see etheir. They brought me to the bathroom and they put me ice. I was so scared because all I could see was blcak. After a while my eye became a bit more normal. Going out of the bathroom they showed me the gun, it was completely broken which means that my head is very strong after all. When I arrived home my mum got such afraid. The day after I had a big blue under my eye.
For now it's all better and I can see properly and my eye doesn't look purple anymore.

A SMALL ACCIDENT.
During this summmer I was off to Ireland on Holidays for two weeks.
The day before we wanted to buy gloves so my friend, Kate, and I went with bycicle to the nearest shopping center. It was very late and most of the shops were closing so we had to go very fast. When I was finally happy with my gloves it was nearly dark and we had to cycle back to the house. I remeber before leaving home Kate's aunt saying: 'Kate your mum would kill me if she knew you are cycling without helmets into town.'
Firstly I broke a tooth, then I opened my chin and finally my hands and my hip got badly damadged. Kate was far from me because she was going in front of me. But then the car that was behind me when I fell stopped and told her that I was on the floor. She came immediately, the man from the car told me that he nearly ran over me. Everything had happened so quickly, I was so scared. We rang Kate's oncles to come to pick us and to bring me to the hospital. There they put me two stitches in my chin and two huge plasters in my hands.
The next day at the horse rases everything went perfect and I could enjoy my day.
I was staying in my friend house but on the day of the accident we were staying at her aunty's house. We were there because the next day we wanted to go to the horse rases "The Curragh".
It is a very big and important event for them.

In the way home going down a slope I pressed the break from the front wheel and I went foward with my face directly to the road.

Ban on smoking while driving.
People want to smoke in the car at the same time that their children are there, but many people ask if this is forbidden according to a study that was carried out. I believe that you should not smoke in cars while a child is inside. The child does not has the fault that you smoke.
In the Pais Basco, they did a research on the topic of smoking in the car and the result came out that 74% of people who were asked if they would like to see people who were smoking in the same vehicle with minors responded no. They were more than three thousand answerings, who said it is twenty-seven times worse to smoke in a car than in a house because a car is smaller than a house and the smoke that you breath is more concentrated. Therefore, they also say that it causes more damage to the accompanying driver than the smoker.
Smoking is not good, and it's worst if there are children around you. While you're driving is very dangerous smoking might distract you and it could cause an accident. I think it should be banned everywhere.

SELF-EVALUATION
Well Eugenia and me worked hard to find all the information and to make sure that what we were saying was right about fashion about this autumn but the bad think of our presentation is that at the moment to tho the presentation I wasn't happy abou the power point. I think there was something missing.. The pictures we used were from magazines, internet,.. some of them were really hard to find. I don't really like talking in front of the class standing and everyone looking at me.. I guess I was really nervous and my hand were even shaking, but I tryed to do my best. This time I studied a lot but I still look at my papers when I talk.
Anyway I know that I can improve little by little ... so I won't give up on trying !!

"YOUTH IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN THE ORLD"
Do you really think that youth is the most important period of our lives?
Actually young people like and want to ejoy live but in their way. We have a complitely different way to see the world than old people. We think that everything is going to end next day and we feel like what we have it's never enough. Young people say that they would like to be older and old people say the contrary.
Like most of the things, being young has advantages and drawbacks.
Being young is good because you life live, you do things you like, you have boyfriends or girlfriends, you hang out with your friends, you make mistakes to learn about what's right or wrong and about what you need or not. Also you experience what will be useful for when you are older. But then, young people say that they would like to be older to have their lives settled down and in the case of woman to have children and get married.
In contrast old people have already experienced live. They have already chosed which way of living they want. They can always teach others and give advices.
(I can't really say anything about them because I don't know how it feels, haha!)
However imagine that an old person refusses his live because he or she has done a big mistake earlier. That is the big drawback from being old. You can never go back in time, in a certain way you have to be careful in your way of acting.
In short, enjoy every single moment of your live and make sure that you are doing what you want. Every period in live it's important. And don't let yourself down if you make a mistake, you have to carry on!!! Try to fill your live with loads of different experiences to guide yourself what kind of live you would like when you are older.
